🔥 May 23 — Update 5.8 Notes: “Squad Training” Event Improvements. Opens Every Month!

Update 5.8 is coming soon to bring back “Squad Training”, our first co-op Event from Winter 2024!
During the past few weeks, the Pocket Champs “Experience Team 🎮” has been fully devoted to re-forging this event based on all the feedback you and the entire community shared with us.
📆 Update 5.8 will be distributed to all players progressively throughout the next 2 weeks, starting today. Stay tuned to know when Squad Training reopens!

Squad Training Details
🏆 Requirement: You need at least 1,000 Trophies to access Squad Training from the Social Menu.
📆 Duration: Squad Training opens every 4 weeks on Friday, at 09:00 AM UTC. It ends after 72 hours. The first date for this event will be confirmed in a separate announcement!
🎯 Objective: Collect as many Flames as you can by opening Training Bags or in other game activities.
🔥 Squad Flames: Ask up to 3 friends to share their collected Flames to your total during the entire event.
💡 Note: Not sure who to invite? No worries! Squad Training will offer suggestions of recently active players who can contribute their collected Flames to your progress!
🎁 Rewards: As you gain Flames, you’ll unlock a variety of rewards displayed on your Flame gauge, including special Squad Training Chests that can boost your Power further!
Event Improvements
Compared to the original Squad Training Event from November 2024, we have made the following changes:
• We adjusted how many Flames were needed to complete the Event, decreasing its general difficulty.
• We added extra ways of collecting Flames: Daily Deals, Coach Missions and Squad Training Chests!
• We improved Invite Suggestions so they only recommend players who have enough recent activity.
• We added a new reward: Squad Training Chests that may contain Collection items from past events.
• We improved Event tutorials to make sure everyone understands how to make progress.
💡 Note: Because this is a monthly event, there won’t always be brand new Collection rewards to unlock. Squad Training weekends featuring special content will always be announced in game news.
With all of the above changes, we wished to address specific complaints of frustration or confusion that we observed in comments from the community about Squad Training. Let us know if we got it right!
In Other News...
The Gadget Ascent Event has had its schedule updated to make sure that it does not overlap with Squad Training weekends. (Gadget Ascent still opens every 2 weeks!)
Also, with this upcoming update, the new “Jade Fox” Shape will become available for both iOS and Android players. You will have chances of finding it in the Tournament!
