😋 Apr. 1 — (April Fools Joke) New Shaking Gameplay!

Hey, Coaches! 2 weeks ago, we revealed in our “Spring 2025 Dev Update” that we were working on “🎯 Mini-Games with Unique Gameplay” and “💪 New Ways to Train your Champ”.
🎮 Today’s Dev Diary is about both of these: we’re ready to talk about our first mini-game concept, the “Training Planet”, where you will be able to control your Champ in unexpected new ways. Let’s dive right in!
💡 Please keep in mind this is only a concept — nothing here is final and your feedback is welcomed!
Firstly, too often has our community voiced concerns about Power stat imbalances and the difficulty of getting the type of Training Bag you need the most. The Training Planet would be our perfect answer!
Every day, you and all other Pocket Champs players would agree on the Power stat that matters the most — voting for Run, Swim, Climb or Fly! Training Bags for everyone in the entire planet would then be updated to match the winning Stat: everyone having the same Bags means no more Power imbalance! Genius!! 🎉

Secondly, first things first: to vote every day, you’ll need to collect enough Stars in the daily Training Planet mini-game — this isn’t a race against other Champs but a competition against other players!
For the first time, you’re the one in control of your Champ… but so is everyone else, uh oh!! In this new style of competitive gameplay, you’ll have to shake your phone to help your Champ gather Stars before the timer runs out, but you’ll be slowed down if other players shake their phones at the same time.

The more players there are in Training Planet, the harder you would need to shake that phone for a chance to vote — can you get all 999 Stars? ⭐ (Is there such a thing as too much shaking?!... Maybe. But tbh we'll worry about that later!)
Lastly, when designing the Training Planet, our intention was to shake things up with the kind of rewards you could get. Every attempt requires 1 Ticket but also guarantees 1 Ticket as a reward — there’s no way to be locked out of this event!
What else can you unlock, you ask? No idea, we've only focused on Tickets so far but please do share your suggestions on social media and rest assured any leftover Training Planet Tickets you have will be converted into Training Planet Tickets — there’s really absolutely no way to be locked out of this event so you can keep playing it for hours and hours! Every day. Every. Day. Non stop.
Players have been waiting for almost 3 years for a chance to control their Champ, and this opportunity is now closer than ever — you can expect it at some point between 2025 and 2028, we promise we won't make you wait 3 more years!
